About Me:

Im living in the same town in which I was born.  Never really left for more than a year or so.  I have used alternative psychology techniques like bio feedback and meditation, tae kwon doe and tai chi to settle in to living in the same place for so long.  It has worked becuase now I have little intention to ever leave.  I have gotten used to that pace of life here and I have found people who also plan to live here indefinitely. Its no Utopia, this Southern city, but it is not impossible to adjust either.

The adjustment is the journey made by the mind.  “Quit smoking.  Throw away all the 80's vinyl records you once cherished.  Volunteer.  Listen to the sound of the wind in the trees.  Sit on the porch and sip lemonaide with your closest friend(s).  Learn how to play that guitar!”  These are things I tell myself.  Im a bit of a loner but Im learning to be more gregarious.  And by the way, I did quit smoking December 18, 2004!

So I consider myself a thinker now.  I like to write strange poetry.  Im building my life one experience at a time.  I am starting with a sense of ecology and low impact living on the land.  I have a dream that we can all live like the Walton tv show except with electric cars and high speed internet.  I want to be a part of it all, and I guess I must admit I want to be apart from it too.  Objective?

I believe that everything has its right time and place.  I believe in a Creator beacause without a Creator all things proceed from order into chaos, not vice versa.  Don't refure that claim, just let me say that imagining a Creator out there in some extra dimention that we do not, cannot, understand: yet a force we can know and have faith in, that idea just makes me feel more comfortable and more free.  I used to try to make sense out of the night sky as a beautiful randomness.  Then I realized that it was my limited mind that was imposing the randomness on a natural order that was and still is simply beyond my total understanding.  And for some reason, that revealation to me was like plugging in the lamp to an elusive electrical outlet that had been so hard to find yet so simple and effective to use.  Can you believe that?  Because its not a philosophy or a faith, it is a natural artifact from a reality that apparently has been invented by itself yet there is order from chaos and clues about its superstructure and microspheres abound in scales and dreams and supersonic slipstreams.  Romance.
